1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service set out the rules for using dorang.net and games published by dorang. Please read them before using our website or games.

They apply alongside the terms of the app store you use and any license that comes with your game. Any mandatory app store license terms and your rights under applicable law continue to apply.

2. Children and guardians

Our games are designed for children and families. Parents and legal guardians should read these Terms and help children understand them. If a child cannot enter into a binding agreement under local law, a parent or legal guardian must provide any consent required for the child to use our website or games.

A parent or legal guardian must approve a child’s purchase whenever this is required by law or the app store’s rules. Where the law allows, a child or their legal guardian may cancel a purchase made without the required consent. Contact us for help with these requests.

3. Using our games and website

You may use our games for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to the game’s license and the app store’s rules. You may stop using our games at any time.

The games, characters, artwork, stories, music and website content belong to dorang or their respective rights holders. Please do not sell or redistribute our games or their content, bypass purchase protections, disrupt our website or use our content unlawfully. These restrictions do not limit any use permitted by law, an applicable open-source license or the relevant rights holder.

4. Prices, purchases and refunds

The app store displays prices and purchase details before you pay. Payments are processed by the store under its payment terms.

To request a refund through your app store, follow the App Store refund guide or the Google Play refund guide. You can also contact dorang at admin@dorang.net for help with a purchase, cancellation, refund or a game that is not working properly. The store’s refund process does not affect our obligations to you under applicable law.

Your rights to cancel a purchase, obtain a refund or seek other remedies under applicable law are not affected by these Terms. Uninstalling a game does not automatically request a refund.

5. Your device and saved progress

Check the app store listing for supported devices and operating systems before downloading a game.

For games that save progress on your device, uninstalling the game, clearing its data or changing devices may cause you to lose that progress. Backup and transfer options depend on your game, device and backup settings. dorang does not keep a server copy of locally saved progress, so we may be unable to recover it.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how saved game data and information you send us for support are handled. Please read the policy that applies to your game version. Parents and legal guardians can contact us with privacy questions.

7. Updates and availability

We may release updates to fix problems, improve our games or maintain compatibility. Availability may depend on your device, operating system and app store. A game may not be compatible with every future device or operating system version.

If we discontinue a game or make a significant change to features you have paid for, we will give advance notice where reasonably possible. We will also provide any notice, refund or other remedy required by law. Your rights relating to content you have already purchased continue to apply.

8. Our responsibilities and your rights

We aim to provide our games and website with reasonable care and skill. Please contact us if something is not working as it should.

These Terms do not exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence. Your rights under consumer law, including remedies when digital content is faulty or does not match its description, remain unchanged.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our games, legal requirements or business operations change. We will publish the revised Terms with an updated date. Before significant changes take effect, we will explain what has changed, state the effective date and provide any advance notice required by law.

Changes will not retroactively reduce rights relating to a purchase you have already made. If express consent is required, we will ask you or your parent or legal guardian for it. We will not treat silence as agreement.

10. Questions and disputes

To ask a question about these Terms or get help with a game, email dorang at admin@dorang.net. Parents and legal guardians may contact us on a child’s behalf. Please avoid sending personal information about a child unless it is needed to resolve your request.

We will try to resolve concerns fairly. You may also use any consumer complaint process, dispute resolution service or court procedure available to you under applicable law. These Terms do not require arbitration or limit any right you have to bring a claim in your local courts.
